Husqvarna Snow Thrower Fast Guide
Using your Husqvarna snow thrower model # with this guide will help you find commonly replaced Husqvarna snow thrower parts. Click the name of the part you are looking for on the left chart & you will be taken to that parts section on the right chart.
- Scraper Bar: Purpose is to scrape loose this dense layer of stuck-on snow and scoop it into the auger housing, like a shovel, where it can be thrown away by the paddles
- Auger Cable: Rotating cables used to collect and throw snow in one direction.
- Skid Shoes: These small attachments act as a spacer between the bottom of your snow blower and your driveway or blowing surface to protect the housing from wear.
- Drive Cable: Connects the control lever to the engagement lever on the snowblower's auger drive system. If the auger won't engage, it's often because the auger drive cable is damaged, worn, or broken.
- Drive Belt: Self-propelled snow blowers rely on a belt drive system to turn the wheels. It is normal for belts to wear out over time and break, causing the drive system to fail.
- Impeller Belt: the auger pulls snow into the machine and feeds it into a high-speed impeller, which in turn directs it out of a discharge chute.
- Shear Bolts/Nuts: bolt that connects your auger to the auger shaft. That connection allows the augers to rotate, collect snow and send snow into the impeller fan where the snow is thrown from the chute.
- Idler Pulley (Drive): Allows movement of the drive belt.
- Idler Pulley (Impeller): allows movement of the impeller belt.
- Friction Wheels: The friction disc helps propel the snowblower forward.
- Chute Rotator Cable: Allows the operator to disperse the snow in desired direction.
- Chute Deflector Cable: Controls the distance that the snow will be dispersed.
- Safety Key: It's an added safety feature. To be able to start your snow blower, you must have the safety key inserted. If you run over something and must stop immediately, you can pull the key and the engine will stop.
