Residential users also represent a sizeable portion of Tru-Cut business. Tru-Cut products are known for their ruggedness, heavy duty construction, precise and manicured cut, low maintenance and unsurpassed quality. Founded in 1953, and incorporated in 1973 in Los Angeles, California, Tru-Cut evolved from Starlite Manufacturing Company, a lawn mower and aerospace product manufacturing company. Traditionally, Tru-Cut products have been marketed and sold through a network of distributors. However, Tru-Cut provides its dealers with factory-direct service and support in special markets where traditional channels have not yet been established.
